ShieldForce, with offices at Av. do Brasil, 17, Lisboa, is the controller of the personal data collected through this website. Contact: geral@shieldforce.pt.
2. What we collect
When you use the contact form, we collect: name, email, phone (optional), company (optional), location (optional), subject and message. We also record technical data about the submission — IP address, referring page and campaign parameters — used only to prevent abuse and understand how you found us.
When you call or email us directly, we process the data you provide in that contact.
3. Why we use it
- To reply to your request for information, a quote or assistance;
- To prepare and send proposals you have asked for;
- To provide technical assistance to clients;
- To protect the website against spam and abuse.
4. Legal basis
- Pre-contractual steps at your request and performance of a contract, for proposals and assistance;
- ShieldForce's legitimate interest in replying to enquiries and protecting the website;
- Consent, where we expressly ask for it.
5. How long we keep it
For as long as needed to handle your request and any resulting relationship, up to 3 years after the last contact, unless a legal obligation requires longer or a contract is in place.
6. Who we share it with
We do not sell or pass your data to third parties for marketing. The website relies on processors acting on ShieldForce's behalf under the GDPR: the website hosting provider, Cloudflare (website delivery and protection) and Microsoft (Microsoft 365, used to send and receive email). Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area; in those cases the transfer relies on appropriate safeguards, such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
7. Your rights
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection, and may withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing already carried out. Email geral@shieldforce.pt to exercise them. We reply within one month.
8. Security
We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect data against unauthorised access, loss or alteration, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and restricted access to contact records.
9. Cookies
This website does not use analytics or advertising cookies or tracking tools, and does not load third-party content: fonts are self-hosted and the map only opens if you click the link. Cloudflare, which protects the website, may set cookies that are strictly necessary for security (for example, to tell people from bots), which do not require consent. If measurement tools are ever used, this policy will be updated and your consent will be requested.
10. Complaints
You may lodge a complaint with the Portuguese data protection authority (CNPD) at www.cnpd.pt.
11. Changes
This policy may be updated. The current version is always available on this page, with the date of the last update.
